BrokerBriefs takes growing companies public on the BSE SME and NSE Emerge platforms, working alongside the merchant banking houses that lead this space. Beyond the listing, the desk arranges equity raises, private placements and capital from AIFs and private equity.
The minimum checklist
Before a capital conversation is worth your time or ours, a company should clear most of this.
- Operating history. A real business with several years behind it, not a concept note.
- Profitability. Demonstrated profits, or a credible near-term path supported by numbers.
- Clean financials. Audited statements, an orderly cap table, no unexplained related-party tangles.
- Identifiable leadership. Promoters and KMP who will stand in front of investors.
- Defined use of proceeds. A specific answer to what the money does once raised.
- Governance basics. Willingness to operate to a listed company’s disclosure standard.
