Before a capital conversation is worth your time or ours, a company should clear most of this.

  • 01Operating history - a real business with several years behind it, not a concept note.
  • 02Profitability - demonstrated profits, or a credible, near-term path supported by numbers.
  • 03Clean financials - audited statements, an orderly cap table, no unexplained related-party tangles.
  • 04Identifiable leadership - promoters and KMP who will stand in front of investors.
  • 05Defined use of proceeds - a specific answer to what the money does once raised.
  • 06Governance basics - willingness to operate to a listed company's disclosure standard.
