About

An exchange lineage. One accountable desk.

BrokerBriefs is the wealth and capital-markets practice of Tanish Broker, in Mumbai.

The surname is not a coincidence. The Broker family has worked Indian capital markets across generations - among the founding families of the Bombay Stock Exchange, with a firm that has stood on Dalal Street since 1878. Through paper certificates, open outcry, dematerialisation and the screen, the discipline has not changed: read the document before you recommend it, and stand behind what you place.

BrokerBriefs carries that lineage into a single, accountable desk. On record, reachable directly, serving both sides of the same market - investors placing capital, and companies raising it. The view is institutional; the relationship is personal.

Behind the desk

Tanish Broker read Banking and Finance at King's College London and worked at Clearwater Analytics in Edinburgh before bringing the desk home to Mumbai. The lineage gives the work its standards. The training gives it modern rails.

What that means in practice: capital placed deliberately and documented properly; companies taken to the public markets through the merchant bankers who lead the SME-IPO space; and the same desk answering, start to finish.
